DOCUMENTALIST - URGENTLY REQUIRED: DOCUMENTALIST FOR CONTRACT ROLE

The documentarian within the software development section is responsible for delivering projects within standard documentation belonging to the developed or emerging applications. There is a (inter) national, broad and extensive group of potential users of the realized applications. The handling of the documentation by the end users is one of the main quality criteria.

It is a developed application for the following standard documentation:

- Software User Manual (SUM);
- Software Installation Manual (SIM);
- Software Version Description (SVD);
- Electronic help.

In some cases, it may also be necessary to provide other types of documentation.

This can have both increased and less technical depth tasks:

- The joint drafting of a documentation plan to document application based on the planning of the development team on the project. For the benefit of
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with matter expert (s) of the development which the application should be documented.
- Capable of working arrangements (planning) with matter expert (s) of the development.
- The document, on the basis of the documentation template.
- Monitoring the content that should be attributed to (the experiences of) end-users, rather than purely technical and abstract documentation.
- The content and didactic structure of the documentation.
- The publication of the documentation, using the purpose-designed storage and distribution channels.
- Evaluating the documentation produced. And update

Experience with:

Of the documentarian extensive experience expected with the following market software:

- Microsoft Office 2000;
- Author Tooling with a strong preference for experience in Madcap Flare and Madcap Capture

Skills:

- Proven experience in being able to quickly and accurately identify with a high technology environment;
- proven experience in working within multidisciplinary projects;
- knowledge and experience of knowledge transfer as a documentarian and/or trainer;
- good writing skills in English and Dutch;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
