DOCUMENT REVIEWER - EDINBURGH - 5 MONTH INITIAL

Our EDINBURGH based public sector client has an urgent requirement for an experienced DOCUMENT REVIEWER for an initial 5 month contract.

The successful candidate will be required to:

- Participate in a large scale, fast paced, document review.
- Review documents submitted to the Inquiry for relevance to the Inquiry's terms of reference.
- Redaction of documents submitted to the Inquiry.
- Research topics at the request of Counsel/Solicitor and perform document searches on a dedicated document management system.
- Assist Counsel/Solicitor with annotation/coding of documents

IDEAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Ability to work effectively in a small team.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work systematically.
- Ability to understand and analyse documents in order to extract relevant information.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and to agreed deadlines, and to prioritise a busy workload.
- Coding or cataloguing experience.
- Experience of working within a legal setting.
- Familiarity with electronic document management systems.

Candidates are required to either already hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
