Document Controller/Negotiator

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER/NEGOTIATOR (ENERGY TRADING)

Document Controller/Negotiator urgently required for an initial 11 month contract for a leading Energy Trading organisation based in the City of London.

You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and successfully concluding Master Trading Agreements, Netting Agreements and Credit Support Documentation, together with ad hoc documentation as required, Supporting the development and maintenance of the contract and clause databases as well as supporting and participating in the production and use of MIS and KPIs across the Contracts Team.

The ideal candidate will come from a paralegal, documentation negotiator or contract administration role within a commodity trading environment, will have experience of referring to an ETRM system for deal verification purposes, as well as possessing sound technical understanding and effective negotiation of trading documentation, ideally including as many of the following (and their various associated annexes): ISDA Master Agreement, GTMA, NBP, Beach, ZBT, EFET Power, EFET Gas, IETA, EFET CPMA, EFET MNA, ISDA CSA, gas/power/emissions structured bespoke agreements. A sound working knowledge of the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions, including the subsequently published annexes to the Definitions/Master Agreements relating to European gas, power and emissions is also required for this role.
