DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
Our customer is building and operating a nationwide TETRA network in Norway (Nodnett). As part of their team they are looking for a Document Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for handling the full document flow in the Nodnett project regarding registration, archiving, tracking and tracing of documents according to requirements from MSI and the customer.
- Responsible for the use, maintenance and follow up of the document handling system in accordance with the overall Nodnett plan, schedule and process/procedures.
- Responsible for fulfilling documentation requirements in all the Nodnett contracts. This includes all changes or deviations to documentation. Issuing documents back and forth as contractually required to deliver work with Document Owners filing in correct place
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance of document and security aspects. Ensuring compliance when correctly marking documentation. Working closely with the Security Manager to ensure compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring effective document handling at all times
SKILLS
- Document Management skills
- Good knowledge of Document Management tools
- Strong IT skills,
- Structured, effective and independent working
- Self motivated and proactive
- Methodical with the ability to find good solutions for document management in this project. Proactive in suggesting process improvements
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels, ensuring a smooth interface with IT tool providers and perform general IT tasks for the team (for example identifying system/process improvements)
- Scandinavian language is an advantage. Excellent English skills are a requirement.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills. The individual should enjoy a consistently changing landscape and be willing and able to adopt new processes and tools. Candidate should be able to self learn and quickly come up to speed with new technologies.
