DOCSIS CABLE MODEM TEST ENGINEER
My client is searching for a DOCSIS and Cable Modem Test Engineer. The role will involve the testing of Strategy & Test Plan writing, using Set-Top Boxes, Home Gateways, Routers and Switches. Previous experience in Digital TV roles and in Bug management is preferable.
The role will also involve the coordination of small technical teams in locations around Europe. Previous test lead experience is therefore desirable.
Role Specific Experience:
- TCP/IP, IPv6, EuroDOCSIS, EuroPacketCable, WiFi, SIP
- Cable Modem Integration Testing (Digital TV Operator specific testing)
- Home Gateway Testing
- Test Plan writing
- Test Execution (also using CMTS & other network equipment)
- Bug Reporting
- Coordination of small technical teams (0 - 4 people)
- Bug management
- Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
- Fluent in English
