Do you have European Gas Operations Knowledge

Working as part of a 24 hour shift team, the scheduler is responsible for accurate, timely scheduling and optimal out-of-hours balancing of the European gas and power portfolio.

The team holds a high profile and is heavily involved in negotiating with European traders so that the supply and demand of gas is balanced at an optimum level.

Main responsibilities:

- Perform Nomination procedures for beach inputs/outputs, trading hubs, Interconnectors, storage sites and factory gate off takes.
- Ensure gas flows accurately meet the demands of the NBP
- Optimally trade power and gas to balance the portfolio
- Negotiate around emergency situations to restore the balance of the physical short-term supply and demand of gas on a European platform.

Knowledge and experience

Only candidates with experience of relevant operational aspects of European gas and power markets will be considered.

Junior and senior level candidates considered but must possess a good commercial understanding of the UK/ Continental gas and power issues.
