DMS PDTC Migrator

For our client in the telecom sector we are looking for a DMC PDTC migrator
Project language: English (Dutch is an asset)
Project start: beginning of January
Project duration: 12 months
Project location: Mechelen
To prepare for the end of life of the DMS100 PDTC's all the PRA-customers who run on ISDN must be migrated from PDTC towards G9. Since a lot of customers have configurations involving overflow, distribution across several Switches and interaction with IN-services, a strong knowledge of translations is required. Preparation of migration of all customers on one switch takes approximately 3 months, followed by 2 weeks of nightly migrations.
Independent working and ownership is keyword in our client's team. Reason is that they are handling a lot of technology with a team of 7 persons (SIP-Servers, SBC's, IAD's, CS2K's using MTP, ISUP, INAP, SIP, H.248, NCS, IP). You can't be afraid for technical challenges and have to be strongly organized and accurately. The latter because they cannot risk mistakes while migrating some of the major customers. Night work is part of the project since after the preparations the customers have to be migrated during the night. This can be done at the central location in Mechelen, travelling isn't required.

DMS100:
Expert in Nortel DMS (100) Universal translations (required)
Strong knowledge in delivering ISDN-services via the DMS (100) (required)
o Datafill
o Commands and understanding to view transmission & ISDN-states
Knowledge of DMS (100) Centrex translations
Accustomed with DMS100 PDTC's
Knowledge of Intelligent Network Application Protocol (INAP), mainly used for number porting
CS2K/C20:
Experience in working with the hybrid VOIP-solution of Nortel/Genband
o Used to working with a hybrid solution, working with one system having a TDM and VOIP-side implies used to the concept of a packet voice GW.
o Preferably experience with G9 or MG15000 or PVG
o Used to working with GWC's
o Understanding relationship between DMS-Core Datafill and GWC-configurationMichael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
