DMPK SCIENTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Waltham, MA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

The Infection Innovative Medicines unit (iMED) has exciting opportunities for DMPK Scientists. This is a contract position and will be based in Gatehouse Park (Waltham, MA) reporting into DMPK ADME/Bioanalytical group, and will work closely with scientists in DMPK, Pharmacology, chemistry and safety. The primary mission of the group is to provide bioanalytical support for the analysis of in vivo and in vitro samples across the Infection portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The immediate focus for this position will be to develop bioanalytical methods, prepare biological samples for analysis, perform quantitative LC-MS/MS assays.
- The major focus would be on high volume data and report generation.
- The individual would have the ability to work on mechanistic aspects of ADME as well.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- BS/MS degree in a relevant discipline with at least one (1) year of pharmaceutical experience is required.
- We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual with knowledge and hands-on skills in mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and bioanalytical sample preparation.
- A solid foundation in bioanalytical chemistry with demonstrated expertise in LC-MS/MS techniques is critical.
- This position requires a proven track record of in vitro and in vivo sample analysis, and experience in the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mass spectrometers and LC equipment.
- The successful candidate will work independently, with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet timelines.
- He/She will have excellent problem solving, organizational, and documentation skills, and ensure compliance with corporate code of conduct guidance and adherence to best safety and environmental health practices.
- This role requires the ability to thrive in a team-based, fast-paced research environment, and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Use of Applied Biosystems Sciex triple quadrupole mass spectrometers
- Familiarity with laboratory automation/liquid handling equipment
- Bioanalysis
- Mechanistic ADME knowledge and hands-on data generation is a plus
