DLP SECURITY ENGINEER, DLP ENGINEER, DATA LOSS PREVENTION, WINDOWS, LINUX, FIREWALLS, BIRMINGHAM

Our client requires a Security Engineer for a high profile project with an end client based in Birmingham, initially for 3 months.

Key skills required for the role:

- Experiences Security Engineer and DLP (data loss prevention) - min 2 years ideally in contract/project environment but career should span longer than this
- Technical skills ins Windows, Linux, Firewalls, database, privileged access management, threat detection analysis
- Experience writing operational processes and workflows. Experience reviewing raw log files, data correlation and analysis, (ie user/system access, application, Firewall, network flow, IDS, system/database logs)

Responsibilities include:

- Installation and configuration of DLP in the new Security Environment
- Documenting the DLP setup
- Reviewing system logs security logs to ensure that end user actions adhere to security standards
- Working with global teams to drive efficiencies
- Training team members on the installation and configuration of DLP
- Training team members on the analysis of issues
- Documenting team procedures and workflows
