District Nurse - Wallingford

Service Care Health have a position available for a registered general nurse (RGN) working in the community in Wallingford.

The community nurse will have responsibility for working throughout the community, within peoples homes as part of the integrated multi-disciplinary clinical assessment and treatment team. The post holder will assess and diagnose, ensuring effective communication with GPs regarding the management of these patients.

You will be required to work autonomously to provide care to individuals and undertake physical examination of patients needing complex care. Core requirements of the role will be;
*Compression bandaging
*Anaphylaxis
*Ulcer care
*Cannulation
*Intravenous (IV) therapy
*Lone / Independent working

The post holder must be a qualified nurse, registered with the NMC. Previous experience as a district or community nurse would be to advantage, however you must have previous experience lone working and have recent clinical experience with the core requirements of the role.
