Distribution Specialist II Job

DISTRIBUTION SPECIALIST II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ALPHARETTA, GA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Distribution/Logistics experience.
- SAP experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide distribution analysis to determine the least-cost distribution alternatives to achieve and maintain expense and KPI targets.
- Resolve daily operational difficulties associated with distribution operations through root cause analysis and development of plans to prevent recurrence.
- Evaluate and drive improvements in and alignment of global distribution processes in order to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Identify and lead distribution cost savings projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- The position requires knowledge and ability associated with a bachelor's degree and three to five (3-5) years of related business experience in Logistics, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and DC operations experience is preferred.
- Looking for someone that understands SAP well enough to do data dumps from the system and run queries. Will be compiling KPIs and metrics from the system.
- Must know formulas, functions, pivots, v-look ups, etc in Excel.
- Plus to have some transportation experience or have a logistics degree.
