For one of our client (multinational leading company) located in Walloon Brabant, we are currently looking for a:

DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS CONSULTANT

NATURE & SCOPE
The Product Supply QA organization is a Global Quality team covering the QA activities of the supply chain of products, with the goal of ensuring a seamless delivery of compliant, safe and innovative drugs to the patient.

As part of Alliance management & Quality Operations QA team, and in partnership with Global Supply, the QA Manager on Distribution & Logistics is in charge of setting the global quality strategy and system for the distribution and logistics activities and GDP compliance. The QA Manager on Distribution & Logistics is the primary QA contact of the Affiliates on warehousing and distribution topics, regarding their Third-Party Logistic partners (3PLs) or own warehouses, as well as for those distribution partners in European countries.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Partnership with Global Supply for the strategy and development of processes to cover key distribution and logistics activities that will meet QA standards. For example, for new 3PL network and partnerships, temperature controlled products logistics, new business models, projects, shipping qualification strategy, global standards on transport, new regulatory updates, etc.
- Establish direction and drive improvem on distribution conducts audits and reviews/analyses data and documentation. Has knowledge of commonly-used regulations & guidelines within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Communicate internally within Global QA, Technical Operations, Global Supply Chain, Affiliates, Global Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Drug Safety etc.
- Communicate externally with distribution partners, third-party logistics service providers, regulatory agencies, contract manufacturers, etc.
- Take a risk-based approach to prioritize projects and make decisions meeting the budget and compliance requirements.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required with ability to balance multiple priorities, provide leadership and prioritisation.
- Being fluent in English is a must.
- Other languages (including French) are optional.
- Minimum experience in pharmaceutical regulated environment, preferably in distribution and logistics activities.
- Knowledgeable in regulatory and technical requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in distribution and logistics activities.
- Experience in audits and regulatory inspection is an asset. QA compliance experience in manufacturing, facility operation, laboratory compliance and quality systems is an asset.
- Ability to motivate, lead and influence.
- Must be able to effectively interact with and influence internal and external groups
- Must have effective teamwork and project management skills. Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational, leadership and analytical skills combined with excellent people and cultural awareness.
- Must have the ability to analyse data and information to draw conclusions and make effective decisions while taking into account the balance of compliance and business risks.
- Knowledgeable of FMEA or other complex problem solving tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools
- Ability to make experience or regulatory knowledge based decisions
- Ability to identify, assess the issues and critical findings and escalate to senior management when required
