DR specialist - IT architect
Our client is a sub department of a world leader in telecommunications.
Description Customer:
Our client is looking for a disaster recovery specialist to support them on the architecture and project management of DR projects.
The DR site has no sufficient capacity and is actually based on 2009 concept. There is also too many manual interventions and decisions needed in failover.
Description Mission:
The point of the mission is to analyse and audit the current architecture at the client side. In 2016 they want to have addressed their main DR issues. The deadline is in 6 months. During this time they also would like to adjust the security of current risks. Going beyond anti-virus: better perimeter, DC micro-segmentation, Review of WAN, Internet connectivity and DMZ.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on experience on the technology used (Mostly how it work).
- Knowledge of TOGAF methodology or related ones.
- Client architecture
They use SAP for ERP & EDI & EWM & BW, SQL Server as the main DB
also for SAP (no HANA), but also Oracle DB, Citrix.
They have solutions in Azure twist and use Office365. VMWare is used as a Hypervisor.
MES (Siemens platform for factory automation) evolution in Industry 4.0
Soft skills:
- Able to work in complex environment
- Able to work between different parties
- Able to communicate in a professional way

Language: Dutch and English fluent
