Edelway SA is a Swiss leading IT professional services company with over 200 senior consultants on assignment in Switzerland and Europe. We are now looking for an experienced Disaster Recovery Project Manager to join our international team at our global clients in the Geneva/Lausanne area.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for coordinating the development of advanced arrangements and procedures to ensure the IS/IT organization can respond to a disaster so that the critical business systems can be resumed within a defined time frame and the amount of loss can be minimized.
This responsibility includes coordinating the scope, RFP, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and exercising (testing) of the overall disaster recovery (DR) plans for each critical system of the organization.
These disaster recovery plans must address three major elements of the recovery process: (1) the Emergency Response organization and procedures for reacting to and coordinating recovery efforts; (2) the Recovery Support procedures for restoring key organization systems; and (3) the Business Resumption procedures for the continuation of critical business systems.
The Disaster Recovery Manager will also be responsible for participating in any actual disaster recovery effort.
YOUR PROFILE
Solid experience in setting up and managing Disaster Recovery with a focus on the technical infrastructure/backup/storage/security/Data Center within large global environments. Extensive and proven Business and ICT Continuity experience
Proven knowledge of and experience in developing and implementing an IT disaster recovery plan; executing the plan multiple times in a test or 'live' mode and; performing a disaster recovery plan assessment including architecture, solution, technical capabilities and headcount.
Excellent working knowledge of current Business and ICT Continuity standards and industry good practice, in particular ISO22301 and ISO20000
Bid and presales tender experience and knowledge
Proficient in defining Business and ICT Continuity strategies and structures
Proficient in developing and implementing Business and ICT Continuity Plans
Proficient in creating, updating and delivering Business and ICT Continuity training and awareness
Fully proficient in performing Business Impact Analyses and risk assessments
Ideally you hold some certifications: DRI or Member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) or equivalent)
Fluent in English. French will be a plus.
