DISASTER RECOVERY/BUSINESS CONTINUITY 6 MONTHS - IMMEDIATE START

The role
Our Client has undergone considerable change and transformation in the FMCG market in the last 12/24 months: Streamlining, mergers, downsizing, etc. The time has come to fully assess their Disaster Recovery plans and ensure the needs of the business are suitably covered for risk. You must fully understand (IT) technology, business continuity as well as physical/geographical risk review.

Key responsibilities include:
Assist in establishing and maintaining a DR framework, including policy development and documentation
Assist in developing a roadmap of DR projects, address risk, develop business cases and obtain approval for execution
Assist in establishing an annual DR test program and schedule
Co-ordinate the DR tests, update DR plans and issue DR test reports on completion of testing
Facilitate the classification of systems, advise change and assess via Business Impact Analysis
Ensuring all project deliverables meet agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements

Essential skills and experience include:
Strong business and commercial acumen, the ability to think strategically, work independently and manage stakeholder expectations.
10+ years experience within IT An indepth understanding of DR, BC and risk management principles Solid experience in developing DR plans, DR test plans and managing the execution of DR tests
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
You will build strong relationships with different levels of staff and senior management across the organisation.
