My client is an international company nearHamburg. It's a much known life science company which is looking for a Director Quality Operations EMEA.

The Director Quality Operations leads EMEA Global Surgery Quality Operations organization by ensuring the appropriate Quality Operation Leadership is available at all times.

In this Position you are verifying the Quality Systems in place to maintain the required compliance level across all manufacturing sites and driving Quality Systems' efficient execution, and reduce risk of nonconforming products.

Your Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree and very strong experience including direct supervision and matrix management or a degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or Physical Science is preferred long-term of related experience and/or training
* Experience in successfully managing a plant-based, multisite and multigeographical organization
* ASQ Certified Quality Manager certification
* ISO 9001 Lead Assessor certification
* Black Belt certification from a recognized program
* A strong track record of successfully dealing with diverse Health Authority and Notified Bodies, including the FDA
* Experience in a key front-room role during FDA (or similar) inspections and in successfully managing a multinational department and/or a significant Quality Project
* Up to approximately 40% international and domestic travel
* Fluency in English
