Director - Quality Control

The Director of Quality Control will be responsible for performing release testing and stability studies for several products while overseeing all external testing. This position will also involve representing the Quality unit including the QC department at all cross-functional meetings.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Providing excellent leadership to all direct reports including Quality Control department managers

Ensuring all department goals and budgets are set

Working cross-functionally with the Quality Assurance unit to support all batch dispositions

Using your expert industry knowledge to determine data trending requirements including QC metrics

Ensuring oversight of all internal QC labs

Identifying all contract test labs and reviewing QC documentation

Requirements Include:

At least 10 years of experience including 5 years in a management role

Knowledge of QC labs and equipment

Prior experience with LIMS and experience interpreting USP & EurPh
