Our high visibility client is aggressively pursuing a global digital strategy with a strong emphasis on eCommerce. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly talented team, focused on enabling revenue across all channels through digital.

The Director of Product Management will be responsible for delivering exceptional global consumer experiences through the web store's Front End and Back End features, functionalities and site templates. S/He will drive key company initiatives across eCommerce and multi-channel, as well as oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of smaller site projects, enhancements and optimizations. This person will set priorities, gain alignment among cross-functional stakeholders, define requirements and deliver new products and features to the global eCommerce platform successfully.

OVERVIEW/TASKS:

- Manage product management team of 4-5.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand business and consumer needs, as well as company strategic and financial goals, and translate into product strategies, roadmaps and requirements.
- Drive global eCommerce growth by bringing the new Hybris eCommerce platform to the US. Act as lead and/or key contributor across several workstreams including: WMS integration, OMS, Webstore Readiness, Mobile, Enterprise Integration, Master Data Management and Data Migration.
- Lead the execution of several multi-channel and commerce initiatives, including Multi-Channel Gift Card, online visibility of in-store inventory, etc.
- Lead the development and continuous evolution of the eCommerce short, mid and long term product roadmaps. Collaborate with internal and external partners for input and alignment. Ensure roadmap aligns to larger retail strategy and allows for iterative improvement of the user experience based on ongoing business need, customer research, feedback, and performance.
- Ensure ongoing site enhancements and bug fixes are prioritized, designed and implemented within required release schedule and timeframe.
- Manage key vendor relationships, including identifying of new 3rd party product features, identifying and selecting vendors, evaluating vendor capability, negotiating contracts in partnership with legal and procurement, and managing 3rd party product integration and launch.
- Partner with consumer insights and analytics teams to understand site performance and performance. Together, drive usability and research initiatives to support site improvements.
- Mange global eCommerce budget (opex and capex), including forecasting, asset depreciation, payment processing and receipt & accrual management.
- Build strong relationships within eCommerce and IT functions.
- Perform ongoing review of global competitive websites to help understand and anticipate digital retail trends and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

- Passion for driving compelling eCommerce user experiences and ability to deliver exceptional functional requirements to deliver product enhancements on the front and Back End
- Must be comfortable in the technical space as well as the business environment
- 8-10 years of product management experience managing global Front End and Back End features and functions strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience building and integrating highly technical products with multiple system and 3rd party dependencies
- Experience with Hybris, Endeca, Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with Omniture, Bing Maps, Bazaarvoice and/or Scene7 a plus
- Self-motivated problem solver who demonstrates creativity, resourcefulness, decisiveness, resilience and strong judgment
- Capability to picking up new knowledge very fast
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage the delivery of multiple high-quality products simultaneously within tight deliverability windows
- Self-starter who is an energetic and enthusiastic, adaptable and customer-oriented team player
- Experience working across multiple functions and brands
- Ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including business and technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work on projects with great efficiency and attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication skills: must be well-spoken and articulate, with proven ability to write clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated ability to present analysis in a compelling, easy to understand manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direction

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
