CONNECT44 have a new opportunity for a Director of Solution Development in China. The opportunity is for a leading telecoms vendors. This great opportunity is on a contractual basis. Please apply if you match the criteria listed in the specification below
1 Responsibilities:
- Creates Services/Offerings for the selected segments served by the service line/service area.
- Ensures the product developed aligns with the service family requirements and strategy, ensuring market relevance
- Drive profit by taking advantage of a common architecture for asset development and replacing labor with technology wherever possible.
- Leads development that will ensure that the region are able to sell, solution and deliver the service offering.
- Work closely with team members and their organizations to assure effective development of the service/offering and all required deliverables.
- Provide service IPD leadership and ensure development projects follow the service IPD process (prepare/vote at DCPs).
- Integrate and prepare materials for reporting decisions and reviews in all phases. Make suggestions on Go/Redirect/No Go of projects to the S-IPMT, Service-BMT, or Service-SPDT.
2 Requirement for candidates:
- 15+ years experience in a large Information Technology and/or Telecommunication vendor organizations with proven experience developing service product/solution and success in global market.
- Expert knowledge of IT functionality and integration across business processes in Telecommunication Industry
- Expert level knowledge and experience with service product development and life cycle management. Experience with international consulting firms will be value added.
- Master of English language, on almost the same terms as a native speaker; able to engage in complex business and technical discussions fluently; able to write and present in English fluently.
- Strong people skill with proven abilities to mentor and empower others to achieve the next level of expertise.
- Willingness to travel and relocate based on project location
