An excellent opportunity has arisen within a global financial for a Director of International Demand Generation for B2B clients. The position will utilise B2B marketing strategies to increase lead generation.
B2B MARKETING STRATEGY: Lead development of B2B marketing strategy and plans with a view to prioritising activities that drive transformational business-building outcomes.
CONTENT/THOUGHT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: Align the organisation on purpose' and story we want to tell, build a content portfolio around this and integrate content themes into all our awareness, marketing and sales activities throughout the year.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: Develop 360 degree program strategy with aim of being omnipresent' with targeted B2B decision-makers. Invest in core data (ie, differentiated trend research/analysis) and sustained, strategic programming to get ourselves in front of decision-makers on the issues they care about.
CORPORATE WEBSITES: Refresh, modernise and refine corporate websites to reinforce core credentials, and generate awareness and demand in a compelling and engaging manner.
DIGITAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING: Build an effective thought leadership presence in the social media forums our potential B2B prospect decision makers frequent.
SEO/SEM: Take conscious actions to optimise search outcomes and build awareness and consideration amongst corporate decision makers.
CUSTOMER REFERRALS, CASE STUDIES, TESTIMONIALS: Source on-point, multi-media testimonials for key marketing and sales collateral and websites to support expertise and reinforce credibility as leaders.
EVENTS/TRADE SHOW STRATEGY: Partner with GMs to design a targeted events strategy that will allow us to get to know our prospect decision-makers personally and in a manner where our credentials can be showcased.
PARTNER AND EXPERT ENDORSEMENTS: Develop and execute plan for securing customer and third-party endorsements and partnerships to build a wave of word of mouth support for our solutions.
LOOK AND FEEL: Develop standard design of client-facing presentations and collateral, online presence and branding and facilitate creation of a pan-international slide library to assist in winning and retaining business.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL DEMAND GENERATION/B2B MARKETING DIRECTOR
- Multi-channel B2B marketing experience, in demand generation and awareness-building areas including PR, content development, events, websites, social media marketing, SEO, sales tools
- Business-to-business experience is essential and exposure to customer engagement/loyalty marketing would be distinct advantage
- International experience, preferably leading teams in multiple markets and working within a matrixed organisation
- Proven successful track record in dynamic, fast-growth and customer-driven organisation, where innovation is central to the business
- Confident and competent in presenting internally, externally and to clients.
