THIS KEY ROLE WILL MANAGE THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT ROLES.

You will lead the product management process, identify and evaluate new business opportunities and markets to create incremental revenue, manage ecosystem partnerships, and manage the ongoing business relationship with customers. The Director of Business Strategy will support the product road map with new development efforts, partnerships and software licensing initiatives. S/He will manage external partnerships and drive research analytics specific to rationalizing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record identifying relevant market intelligence and industry trends, including evolving technologies, consumer behaviors, and competitive positioning. You'll need strong analytical and research skills. Business relationship interactions will be a day-to-day activity and working closely with internal cross-functional internal teams will be a necessity. You will also drive initiatives you've identified and manage the performance and responsibilities of the Business Team. This is not a Sales position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and model significant, complex and sophisticated high tech software business opportunities.
- Implement targeted, customer-centric and business focused initiatives driving revenue growth by balancing resource capacities and ecosystem partners.
- Deliver accurate and timely business information to inform strategy (such as P evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending investments.
- Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations, examining risks and potentials, and estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Close business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

REQUIREMENTS

- MBA required, Bachelor's or other degree in Engineering preferred
- 8-10 years of post-MBA experience in business development, product management, account management, marketing, or related experience required
- Project management skills, ability to manage and direct a cross-functional team to deliver on program requirements
- Knowledge in mobile and online services, wireless networks, handset manufacturers carriers, service providers, and other technology partners
- Energetic self-starter with excellent communication, presentation, influence and writing skills, solid organizational skills
- Experience working within a global organization a plus
- Experience writing, analysing and/or answering proposal requests
- Ability to build and grow relationships with multiple customers
- Familiarity with high-tech licensing contracts
- Passion for emerging revenue models
- Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced environment where needs and requirements often change
- Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically and to work with interdepartmental teams at all levels of management
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical and facilitation skills
