DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Marketing Technology will serve as the bridge between the Marketing team, Digital Team, and IT. This role will be primarily responsible for contributing to and have ownership of the marketing technology strategy, platforms, and systems. The Director of Marketing Technology will also work with the Global Digital Engagement and Integrated Marketing Planning teams to better understand the marketing activation strategies, and assist the IT Digital team to align their development to the marketing team's data-driven strategy. The Director, Marketing Technology will own the marketing database, campaign management systems, communications systems, social monitoring and engagement systems, and the suite of creative solutions systems utilized to streamline inbound and outbound customer experiences through web and mobile as well as e-mail and marketing.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
In addition to following policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain the Marketing Technology roadmap in line with the marketing initiatives.
Provide actionable technical requirements to the IT Digital team based on the requirements of the Marketing group.
Work cohesively across several distributed groups and leadership teams.
Effectively take customer master data, campaign data, and social media data and integrates it into various channels to collaborate between the Marketing and IT groups.
Provide insight and recommendations regarding the selection of a Campaign Management System capable of scaling to meet the needs of The company
Take ownership of all Marketing Technology Systems including the marketing database, campaign management systems, communications systems, social monitoring and engagement systems, and the suite of creative solutions systems.

SKILLS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
8+ years of experience implementing marketing technology solutions at an enterprise level.
Enterprise experience delivering IT applications utilizing internal teams and distributed groups.
Experience translating technical information in to easy-to-understand business concepts.
Expert level understanding of CRM systems, marketing automation, marketing systems and platforms.
Experience with one or the following or comparable: IBM Unica, Oracle Responyes, Adobe Campaign, SAS, Microsoft Dynamics, Teradata Customer Interaction Management, Marketo
IT Development Experience. Need to have previous Director level experience (not Mgr/seniorManager only). Digital Marketing experience great but will also need to have built or led multiple successful IT projects and teams.
