DESCRIPTION: DINING ROOM MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

The Dining Room Manager is responsible for ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction through effective training of staff, positive and committed 'Do Whatever It Takes' attitude. Hands on and lead by example management style.

MUST BE WILLING TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS, INCLUDING EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS TO SUPPORT THE DAILY OPERATION OF OUR SEASONAL BUSINESS.

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AS WELL AS DRUG TEST.

BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Requires at least 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a full service, high-volume dining establishment. Must be able to successfully coordinate the staff and resources in high volume, time sensitive environment.
- THE DINING ROOM MANAGER MUST HAVE A GENUINE DESIRE TO LEAD THE TEAM IN DELIVERING HIGH QUALITY SERVICE.
- Good computer skills; proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, Point-of-Sale applications.
- Must be knowledgeable in restaurant seating standards, table numbers.
- MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO STEP INTO ANY HOURLY FRONT OF THE HOUSE POSITION AS BUSINESS DICTATES.
- Must have excellent phone etiquette.
- Must be able to command respect and maintain good working relationships with all staff.
- Must be personable, friendly and guest-focused.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and be highly self-motivated.
- Must create an environment that is welcoming to new and repeat customers.
- Must possess and exhibit effective leadership qualities.
- Must possess strong ethics and honest behavior.
- Evaluate, train, coordinate, schedule and manage, dining room staff.
- Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
- Handle all culinary concerns and complaints in a professional and caring manner.
- SAFETY: Must practice all safety policies and procedures as set by the company.
- CASH HANDLING: Must be able to accurately operate a POS system and cash out the end of the shift with a Balanced Checkout sheet for both Bartenders as well as Servers. Will take full responsibility for all funds for the end of the night Drop .
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work in a very fast paced, high volume, multi task environment with temperature/weather changes. Must be able to work both indoor and outdoor in a seasonal environment.
