Dimetra Radio Network System Specialist

DIMETRA RADIO NETWORK SYSTEM SPECIALIST

- Handling of reported DiMetra radio network(base stations/transmission/repeater) incidents and problems within the timeframes defined in Service Level Agreement(SLA)
- Coordination/execution of reactive and preventive maintenance of radio network

TASKS
- Incident and Problem management of a DiMetra radio network as part of a public safety network. This includes site visits and customer interaction.
- Part of 24/365 on call roster
- 1st and 2nd line maintenance for radio network equipment. This includes configuration tasks.
- Testing and implementation of new HW/SW
- Maintenance and optimisation of internal procedures
- Installation/commissioning
- Internal training of Operations staff
- Coordination towards other technical teams, eg 3rd line maintenance and first line maintenance teams
- Take part in any relevant Operator process (ITIL)

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of base stations (CW/TI) and auxiliary systems(HVAC,rectifiers,BBU, etc)
- Result- and customer oriented.
- Driving license
- Operations department experience
