Digital Workplace Legal and Compliance Consultant (Contract)

International client in the Zurich area is looking for an experienced Digital Workplace (O365/Cloud) Legal & Compliance Consultant to help on a 6+ month Contract position. Qualified candidates will have the following experience:

MAIN TASKS

Collaborate with our internal Legal and compliance teams to drive forward cloud adoption for Digital workplace.

Drive forward all legal & compliance aspects for O365 and other cloud offerings, breaking down legal requirements into Tasks for the technical leads.

Ensure that the technical solutions proposed by the technical leads adequately mitigate the risks and requirements stated within the legal and compliance statements.

Ensure there is clear communication and guidance given to the business regarding process and legal & compliance requirements on our cloud platforms.

Keep abreast of new regulations which could impact our cloud platforms and how we use it, work closely with legal and compliance to understand the impact to the Digital Workplace teams and define steps to mitigate.

Be the main person responsible for all Legal and compliance requirements within Digital Workplace division.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

Understand current regulatory initiatives and translate those into detailed requirements and tasks on IT and business level

Be able to read and understand legal text and break this down into actionable tasks.

Ability to set-up and implement policies and processes, describing risks and highlighting mitigating options

Established competence and experience in assessing and negotiating Information Technology agreements with external service providers

Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking in multiple projects with different scopes

Experience in a multi-national enterprise, preferably with experience in the financial sector

Very good understanding of IT and technology
