I am looking to hire a Devops for one of the public sector client. Below is the job description of the same.
LOCATION: Leeds and Newcastle
CONTRACT LENGTH: 8+Months
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
The main responsibilities of the post are:
Build and configure new server platforms and the automated tooling to do so
Manage the operation of Linux Servers and delivery of complex web application stacks
Test, debug and troubleshoot platform level problems
Support development teams with configuring applications for deployment
Installation and management of open source monitoring tools
Configuration of management tools like Puppet, Chef, etc.
Deployment and configuration of machines in a Cloud environment
Adherence to application deployment strategies and continuous integration
MUST HAVES:
Functions and Skills & Experience
Continuous Integration Tool - Jenkins, TCPIP and Puppet
Essential Skills:
DB Skills - Postgress, Mongo and MSQL
Proven track record of working with cloud computing to include VCloud
