Digital UX Designer

Deliver designs that meet web standards, ensuring that key elements are built in from the outset; Contribute to the development and continual enhancement of products;
Partner with colleagues to facilitate a consistent and excellent user experience;
Communicate credibly with a wide range of digital delivery disciplines and talent both internally and externally;
Have experience working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and the ability to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team;
Have proven experience in rapid, iterative low and high fidelity prototyping/wireframing.

Experienced in interaction and interface design for digital services.
Experienced in designing for different screen sizes and input methods (eg touch, mouse and keystroke).
Proven experience of working closely with user researchers and designing solutions using insights from research Proven experience of working in agile teams

Key Tasks:

Define elements on screen (layout, design patterns, controls, actions) Design for visual priorities on screen (such as what needs to be obvious, what needs to be easy, what needs to be made possible) Do rapid, light weight prototyping - sometimes working directly with Front End code.

Based in Newcastle paying £400 per day, 6 month contract Full time onsite in Newcastle
