Digital TV Test Engineer and Test Lead

DIGITAL TV TEST ENGINEER/TEST LEAD

My client is searching for an experienced DIGITAL TV TEST ENGINEER for a role based in Belgium. Candidates should have experience with DVB, IPTV, Video-on-Demand and Over-the-Top.

The role will involve DTV and Set Top Box testing, gathering requirements and objectives and the attendance of client meetings. The role will also include Test Execution and Coordination of Test Execution. Experience of using Set-Top Boxes and DVB Monitoring Tools also required.

Requirements:

- Technology areas: DVB, IPTV, Video-on-Demand, Over-the-Top
- Technologies: MPEG, DVB SI, DSM-CC, DVB-C
- Digital TV Set-Top Box Testing
- Test Plan writing
- Test Execution (also using head-end equipment)
- Digital TV Head-end Testing
- Test Plan writing
- Testing new configurations and/or new components of digital TV head-ends
- Test Execution (using Set-Top Boxes and DVB monitoring tools)
- Bug Reporting and management
- Coordination of small technical teams (0 - 4 people)
- Test Result Reporting (Technical & Management)
- Willingness to travel
