DIGITAL TV CONTENT VALUE ADDED SERVICES ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Support the design, development, testing, integration and deployment phases of all the designated content value added services
- Define and review system design and architecture of components assigned to the content value added service (VAS) group. This includes:
- Participation during requirements and design sessions insuring that component supports functional and technical requirements
- Ensure that delivered system supports non-functional requirements related to performance, auditing and stability of system.
- Maintain together with vendor up to date documentation related to component design, API interface spec and configuration/deployment guide
- Develop and execute component test packs
- Support integration phase of project providing support related to the content VAS components
- Support or lead deployment of content VAS systems at affiliates

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Knowledge and understanding of Digital TV systems (MPEG2, Conditional Access, STB's, Middleware)
