Digital Test Engineer

On behalf of our high profile telecoms client, I am looking for a Digital Test Engineer to fulfil a long term contract opportunity in Surrey.

Key Purpose of Job
Test and debug of digital electronics modules

Key Tasks
Test and debug of digital systems modules - from PCB level to system level.
Record and document test data in accordance with established test procedures
Fault diagnosis down to PCB component level using standard lab equipment: - Logic analysers, oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies etc..
Liaison with flight assembly cleanroom to manage the workflow of PCBs into the test area

Essential requirements
Qualifications BTEC/HND/Degree in Electronics or equivalent
Experience Proven hardware testing experience down to PCB level

Knowledge & Skills
Digital electronics
Analogue electronics skills an advantage but not essential
Good attention to detail
Self motivated
Good organisational skills
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel)
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills
