You will need a good understanding of digital platforms such as Backbas, Finacle, Oracle and Temenos and an understanding of API's and how to design developer friendly API's. Understanding API-as-a-service and its strengths and weaknesses and a solid understanding of web facing security. My client is looking for someone who understands what security mechanisms are available and what would be compliant.
Identity-as-a-service which banks can offer is a must as most of their clients are in the banking and FS sector. So knowledge of Oauth2 is a must.
A lot of the role will be around PSD2 and what can be offered to comply and an in depth understanding of omnichannel requirements is a distinct advantage.
