Digital Project Manager

Our high profile client is looking for an Agile Project Manager for a 6 month contract, in a small startup-like environment.

The PM will champion agile development process, managing tasks, iteration planning and the delivery of new features for the company's largest digital subscription product. They will work closely with the development and Product teams to ensure new features are correctly detailed, scoped, tracked, and deployed in a timely manner, alongside BAU support. The right person will be an experienced agile project manager with an ability to think like a business analyst. Emotionally intelligent, flexible and comfortable in the world of media and software as entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:
Organiseplan iterations; ensure design assets, wireframes, requirements and any other deliverables are in place; and monitor progress and velocity.
Identify and removes obstacles and prevent distractions, as needed
Assist with conflict resolution and other discussions, as needed Identify, assess, mitigate potential issues and risks
Actively promote the company's values & all relevant policies and procedures including equity, diversity and OH&S

Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualifications and Scrum Master certification highly desirable.
Demonstrated extensive Project Management experience (7+years) in software/application development.
Proven organisation skills, proactive managementexperience running agile projects using tools such as Jira/Pivotal Tracker.
Ability to think like a Business Analyst, working effectively with Product and development team to articulate requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, high on emotional intelligence with an ability to channel multiple points of view, to deal effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Strong understanding of IT processes including version control, deployment.
