Are you an insightful digital specialist with an interest in mobile apps? Do you have strong project management skills and a desire to help beat cancer sooner?

Here at Cancer Research UK, we achieve extraordinary things by being innovative, imaginative and bold in our work. One of our latest innovations in the digital space is a mobile app designed to appeal to participants of our flagship fundraising product, Race for Life. Following its successful pilot, we are now embarking upon a re-design and build of a cross-platform (iOS and Android) mobile app to rollout in February 2014 - and are looking for a highly capable project manager drive the product forward.

As Digital Project Manager, key responsibilities will include:

- Stewarding the app as it transitions from successful pilot into an integral part of the Race for Life customer journey with associated ambitious fundraising and engagement targets
- Producing a sector-leading mobile app that provides an exceptional customer journey appealing to a mixed audience of 530,000 Race for Life participants - deepening their engagement with our brand, whilst inspiring them to fundraise
- Being the project's first point of contact, owning all KPIs, targets, and budget
- Working closely with internal specialists from Digital, ITServices, Data, Innovation, and Product teams as well as external agencies to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard

You'll be an ambitious self-starter and fantastic team player - capable of working with multiple stakeholders, building relationships and driving progress.

To take on this exciting challenge, you'll have:

- Excellent understanding of the digital landscape - and appreciation for delivering insight driven user experiences which put the customer at the heart of the journey
- Exceptional project management skills - with attention for detail, whilst retaining an eye on the bigger picture
- Ability to make and own decisions, and influence confidently at all levels, challenge constructively, winning support for ideas that may not be preferred by everyone
- Breadth of knowledge across several digital disciplines e.g. marketing, content, website development and the ability to translate non-digital ideas into inspiring digital solutions
