Digital Product Manager - Media - £70-80k - London

My client, a global media company, is looking for a key member to join the Product development team, to own and manage the future development of their website. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the product offering built specifically to customer requirements.

You will also be elaborating on requirements and prioritising development.

The product manager will provide leadership and direction for the product portfolio and will be a key contributor in setting the solutions strategy in order to meet the business objectives.

Working with a dedicated development team, responsible for the delivery of the product roadmap. This will include
* Leading the delivery of the strategy and customer proposition development to create a best in class website customer experience, supporting the goal to increase traffic and repeat visits, and increase advertising revenue.
* Owning the product roadmap, coordinating product feature development. The role requires both product and project management. Projects within the roadmap will vary from regular optimisation requirements to large scale functional development.
* Championing the customer experience within the business; be the voice of the customer

Key Skills required :

* Significant experience managing website properties, possibly with a job title such as customer experience manager, digital product manager, website manager
* Understanding and passion for creating great customer experiences online
* Strong understanding of the technical development process to deliver digital initiatives
* Ability to iterate and execute quickly in a fast paced and agile environment
* Experience in managing large groups of stakeholders and influencing at a senior level
* Proven project management skills delivering large digital initiatives
* Experience in developing mobile optimised and SEO optimised sites would be very useful
* Experience in developing innovative ad formats within a website also useful
