My client, a global innovative manufacturing company, are looking for an individual experienced in product development to join their already existing Product Information Management team (PIM).

The 'Product Information management (PIM) team is focussed on working with data as a key business asset and are responsible for the management of all digital assets associated with the business's 55,000 products, ensuring that the data is accurate and available for multiple output uses. The business have a strategic goal to optimise the acquisition and maintenance of high quality product content to deliver multiple business benefits and outputs to the business and its customers. These include increased online engagement through our websites, optimise our product content on our partner's E-commerce stores and increasing productivity by improving data accessibility.

Job Summary

As a key member of the UK & Ireland Global Product Information Management team you will be integral in delivering a key business support function in enabling the facilitation of digitised product data onto centralised systems and create multiple format outputs.
The role will include working with different product data systems and their databases, the main two are Hybris and Celum which you will receive full training on as part of your induction.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

*Product Information Management of products through the product life cycle, following business processes
*Become a super-user of Hybris and Celum databases, with a deep understanding of the data they contain, how it is loaded, organised, extracted and an appreciation of how it is used.
*Work in conjunction with multiple business group stakeholders in UK&I to acquire and maintain complete and accurate digitised content for all products.
*Manage loading/testing of acquired data in the corporate PIM systems (Hybris & Celum) and create and maintain accurate product hierarchies in overall product information process.
*Identify and deliver data requirements for a range of outputs including websites and data syndication.
Track and report on key metrics related to the quality and completeness of data in Hybris and Celum including delivery of recommended actions for the team to address.
*Recommend opportunities for enhanced database functionality and test new functionality to ensure it meets business needs.
*Other GPIM related responsibilities as required.
Experience

The ideal candidates will have worked in a data-centric roles and have experience in the application, manipulation and management of data as a critical asset. Experience in data analysis is an advantage.

Technical Skills

*Proficient user of PC technology is essential including MS Office packages
*Proficient Excel skills including management and manipulation of data using a range of key excel formulas and functions
*Experience in working with Content Management Systems
*Experience in Hybris and Celum databases or similar is a plus but not essential
*Experience in SAP Business Objects is a plus but not essential
