Digital Producer

Our client; a major broadcasting company are looking for an experienced Digital Producer who can build on the success of a leading entertainment programme.

Role and responsibilities.

- Building relationships with key stakeholders including; TV production team, and third party technology suppliers
- Overall responsibility of delivery of the digital content to numerous platforms including but not exclusively; Facebook, Twitter and other social sites, YouTube and the programmes app.
- Building and managing the online editorial team
- Development and documentation of the content strategy
- Management of the digital budget
- Ensuring compliance with editorial and technical guidelines
- Delivery of regular reports and metrics against key performance indicators

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

- Worked on large interactive TV shows in a senior capacity in a digital role
- Experience of working closely with the production team in a fast-moving and high pressured TV production environment
- Exceptionally leadership skills
- The ability to organise and delegate to a multi-skilled team
- Experience of delivering online short-form entertainment video content
- A keen editorial eye for popular and entertaining written online content.
- Experience of delivering appropriate content to multiple social platforms
- An understanding of emerging platforms and online usage trends
- Experience of delivering IOS and Android applications either as part of a team or working with a third party
- Experience of making tough editorial decisions in a live broadcast environment
