DIGITAL PLATFORM CONSULTANT

We are currently looking for an experienced Consultant to actively support our client enhancing their customer platform and digital channel solutions. Our client is part of a well-known financial services group with offices in Zurich. This is a contract assignment.

Tasks

- Act as an expert on digital client channel solutions, offer insight into new approaches and solution options
- Gather technical requirements and support the design of new solutions
- Co-ordinate and encourage internal and external resources to work together (business, developers, vendor consultants, etc.)
- Drive implementation of new digital client platform
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders from other offices in Europe (Change Managers, Business Analysts)
- Support technical project management and testing activities during release cycles
- Solution design for new implementation together with 3rd party developers
- Coordination of changes with other application management teams
- Problem analysis of infrastructure and interfaces
- Implementation of new features (Change-the-Bank) and smooth operation (Run-the-Bank)
- API Management & open architecture support
- Incident analysis and coordination of bug-fixes

Requirements

- University degree in Computer Science or similar
- Experience in a comparable role within Banking & Finance
- Experience in Requirements Engineering
- Knowledge of state of the art technologies in the digital space
- Database know-how (SQL/ERM/Datamodelling)
- Proficiency in programming languages and web technologies
- Proven know-how in the area of IT security
- Acquaintance with Windows and Unix environments
- English written and spoken, German spoken
