Digital Picture Editor

Our client requires 2 Digital Picture Editors to work oniste in Osterley, West London.

The Role

Our client is looking for a picture editor who will assist the presentation of the VOD service and ensure that the editorial proposition is both accurate and creative.

Key responsibilities:

- sourcing the appropriate image (mainly sourced from on-line image banks or using established picture libraries and archives) then creatively editing and manipulating images and upload images to a web application
- liaising directly with third party channels
- dealing with licensing and copyright restrictions
- keeping records, storing images and undertaking necessary administration

Skills

- IT literate on picture management systems and Microsoft Office
- picture editing experience is essential
- you'll be brilliant at meeting deadlines and juggling your workload effectively
- you should have fresh ideas for all kinds of images that will ensure they stand out and have a strong editorial flair
- you will have demonstrable knowledge of television programmes and experience researching images
- you must be able to use your initiative, working on your own or as part of a team
