Digital Marketing Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing for Worldpay UK, this person will be responsible for using leading edge digital marketing techniques to generate a high volume of new leads into the business, and to build and enhance Worldpay UK's brand reputation through digital channels. The role is accountable and commercially focused, and works as the de facto number 2 to the Head of Digital Marketing.

The person should be driven to achieve, have the ability to lead using informal networks, and work collaboratively across functions and regions. The person should be a good communicator.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

PPC - this person should have significant experience of managing a significant PPC budget, and using the latest techniques to optimise volumes through this channel. PPC advertising is Worldpay's single biggest source of lead volumes into the business, and so a thorough understanding of this area is essential. A/B page optimisation - this person should be experienced in running regular and detailed A/B optimisation programmes, using rigorous, and statistically robust techniques to increase desired outcome conversion from web pages. Social Media - this person should have experience is using social media to help build customer engagement and brand reputation. In addition this person should have experience in setting up procedures and policies to use social media for dealing with customer service enquiries, in conjunction with a customer service department. Web Content - this person should have experience in developing relevant, customer-led web content, and strong experience of using standard analytical tools to guide and enhance the web content strategy.

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

Experience of significant digital lead generation campaigns using Google Adwords.

Experience of optimising web pages to maximise desirable outcomes using A/B testing.

DESIRABLE

Experience of using social media to drive leads, build brands and deliver customer service.

Experience of latest SEO techniques and approaches.

Experience in developing web sites and web content.
