Digital Marketing Executive

DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE - WEST YORKSHIRE - 3 MONTH CONTRACT

ROLE SUMMARY:
A Digital Marketing Executive is required to work for a large, dynamic organisation based in West Yorkshire on an initial 3 month contract. The successful candidate must have had experience working as part of a busy marketing and communications team. They must be a creative thinker, as they will be tasked with creating and maintaining high quality digital content. The role is fast paced and has a strong emphasis on copywriting. The applicant will be primarily responsible for producing copy and marketing text for the organisation and the client brand. The ideal applicant will understand and champion the importance of digital strategy, and be an excellent team leader, player and communicator.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Copywriting & content creation for on/off line mediums
- Demonstrable copywriting and proofreading ability
- Write copy in line with brand guidelines & writing in different styles
- Provide custom copy based on target audience and customer segment
- Social media experience & management tools, and Google Analytics
- Solid understanding of PR
- Must understand trends within the digital marketing arena
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong time and project management abilities
- Basic art work knowledge & web design skills
- Multi-media production & campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a marketing/Communications degree or equivalent/relevant experience
- Must be a copywriter and have demonstrable experience of this
- Desirable, but not essential to be working toward a CIM/IDM qualification, or member of a relevant professional body
