Digital Marketing Assistant

LED Leisure Management Ltd (LED) is a Social Enterprise that provides a range of diverse cultural, sporting and physical activities throughout East Devon and South Somerset in the sectors of indoor and outdoor sports, swimming, exercise and health, children's play schemes, educational programmes, sporting and cultural events and the performing arts.

We are currently finalising two major facility development projects in Exmouth and planning further growth.

JOB PURPOSE

Supporting the Marketing Manager to deliver all elements of the marketing plans to drive footfall, sales, memberships, retention, loyalty and customer advocacy.

Specific responsibility for driving digital marketing for LED leisure, entertainment and sports venues, including the creation of original content, customer engagement and analysis.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

- Minimum 2 years experience in an integrated marketing environment
- Experience of managing social media channels & digital marketing campaigns
- An understanding of the social media environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a creative thinker, an 'ideas' person able to continually come up with new and engaging content across the company brands
- Proficiency in using content management systems
- IT literate and willing to learn new systems and software, and with a basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and able to prioritise the workload accordingly
- Passion for digital and integrated marketing
- Be confident dealing with colleagues, customers, external agencies and partners

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

- Degree in or equivalent nationally recognised qualification in relevant subject area
- Experience of building relationships with journalists and bloggers from a range of different sectors, and engage with young people and adults
- Experience using online tools such as Google Analytics, Search Metrics etc.
- A strong understanding of keyword analysis, organic search, keyword administration and competitor analysis
