Digital IC Design Engineer

YOUR JOB

You will be part of a team porting an existing design of an ultra-low power radio to a new foundry. Focus will be on porting and testing of digital blocks for a mixed-signal SoC. Furthermore, trade-offs between power, area and performance will be evaluated. The final aim is that the design will be productized by our industrial semiconductor partners. As team member you participate in the implementation from RTL to GDS.

YOUR JOB:

- Contribute to the port of digital hardware to a new foundry.
- Develop energy efficient hardware implementations to support baseband algorithms.
- Design and implementation of low-power HW (RTL).
- Deliver results in time in accordance to the project plan.
- Document and present results.

YOUR PROFILE:

- Solid background of VLSI design
- 3+ years of experience in RTL development (VHDL/Verilog) required
- Experience with RTL simulation and synthesis tools
- Background on signal processing is a plus
- Experience with radio (baseband) algorithms is a plus
- Proven ability to solve problems
- Flexible team player, actively helping other team members and sees changes as an opportunity to learn and grow
- Quick learner, who is able to acquire new skills and competences
- Proactive attitude, taking responsibility for the process from specification to validation, including communication and alignment with different stakeholders
- Good communication skill in English (written and spoken).
