Digital Front End Developer Javascript - CSS3 - HTML5 required for a Government client based Exeter, South West.

Responsibilities: Work within an agile multi-disciplinary team of Developers, Designers, and Analysts focussed on designing, creating and improving new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation; Implement APIs for internal and external use; Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment; Have knowledge of tools and techniques used within the wider team, both Developers and Non-Developers; Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms; Have experience building Server Side web applications and have detailed knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

Essential: Experience of working professionally on customer facing web applications, specifically with the following technologies: Javascript, CSS3, HTML5, Java and having a good understanding of programming languages.

Ability to grasp fresh concepts and implement efficient, effective solutions in a timely mannerEvidence of an ability to participate effectively in a team environment and be able to work independently on allocated tasks.

Enthusiasm for and understanding of how to provide a professional, high-quality service and work to demanding deadlines.

An ability to communicate with stakeholders to advise on progress and interpret requirements.
