Digital Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
* Technical team leadership in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Lead & manage, engineering leads to manage vendor teams to meet program schedule, budget, and quality of all deliverables to agreed targets
* Lead & manage, engineering leads to manage vendor teams to support content maintenance and quality of all deliverables to agreed targets
* Assists in developing standards and procedures to ensure high quality deliverables and consistent workflow across projects and other engineering functional areas.
* Manage Commodity engineering team on site as well as securing contract and outsource resources to assist in team augmentation when needed.
* Actively review projects, manage resources to on time delivery, track schedules and maintain budgets.
* Partners with QA management to develop practices and standards that ensure quality solutions are delivered to the customer
* Work to mitigate issues and risks at all stages of the content development process
* Provide weekly status reports and attend weekly discipline update meetings

Essential
* M.Sc. in Computer Science or B.S. and equivalent experience
* 6+ years in application and/or web development
* 3+ years managing medium to large engineering teams
* Leadership ability with technical staff
* Proven history of releasing quality software and/or commercial web applications
* Experience managing deliverables, resources, etc.
* Interactive educational software experience a plus
