Digital Designer - Publishing

Handle Recruitment are looking for a creative and ambitious Digital Designer/Developer to join the team of one of the UK's most successful B2B publishing business.

This position requires a highly creative individual that is confident in both creative direction and hands-on design. The primary need is to help develop brand design solutions for the brands' online presence (web design, UX and UI), event branding (print and digital) and marketing collateral. The role requires a candidate that has technical knowledge as well as a thorough understanding of how to define and shape the visual identity of a leading global brand.

Key responsibilities/competencies:

- Branding design for events (print & digital)
- Editorial design for marketing and sales collateral
- Digital design for websites (UI & UX), social media, online campaigns and eDMs
- Able to deliver project deadlines under tight deadlines
- Able to confidently present ideas to senior-level management
- Excellent organizational ability and prioritisation of time-sensitive assignments

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional, creative environment. They will also have an outstanding portfolio illustrating skills from print to editorial to digital design. We are looking for someone with a high proficiency in Adobe CS6 Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe PDF Pro and Photoshop) and someone with Flash, HTML skills and online animation will be a plus.
