DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEER
LEUVEN, BELGIUM
12 MONTH CONTRACT (EXTENDABLE)

THE ROLE
As Digital Designer for ConSol Partners' client, you'll be responsible for:
- Design of a single IP or the full digital top level of a transceiver chip (includes analog/RF blocks, digital blocks and on occasion SW running on the processor)
- Create block level architecture based on a requirements specification, implement design in SystemVerilog
- Write small block level test benches to debug small blocks
- Document the design properly
- Write assertions on design to support verification, assist verification team
- Support the Back End team with timing related optimisations, assist the characterisation team during lab debug
THE INDIVIDUAL
- MSEE or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in Front End digital ASIC design
- Knowledge of Verilog is a MUST
- Experience in implementing signal processing algorithms is preferred
- Experience with wireless communication chips is also an asset
The Digital Designer will be detail-oriented and determined, with strong communication and documentation skills.
