My client a leading international solutions house, Digital Content Team Lead, Dublin based, lead off-shore team, must be technical, Flash, Flex, HTML, Javascript, Daily rates paid
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
THE CLIENT:
Our client is an international solutions provider.
ROLE:
We are seeking a Digital Content Engineer with strong technical knowledge and good design skills. Our main development projects will be Web-based online interactive programs, short Flash animations, presentations, and other dynamic Flash content which are integrated with a database or LMS for the capture of user responses. We are looking for a digital content engineer with strong development skills and good creative talent. Ideally the Digital Content Engineer will have experience of managing out of house development teams while also working on internal projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop user, functional and business specifications
- Lead and manage near and far shore technical development partners
- Facilitate stakeholder and other resources to ensure goals and objectives of the project are met.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team that includes project managers, engineering, graphic designers, marketing and executive leadership
- Implement and design Flash interactivities and templates to meet requirements
- Troubleshoot existing Flash product issues and develop solutions
- Structuring content to enable efficient re-use, customisation and localization
- Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Multimedia/Web Design, or comparable industry experience.
- A minimum of 1 years proven leadership/management experience of technical teams.
- At least 5+ years as an Interactive Developer.
- Thorough experience with dynamic, interactive content.
- Excellent debugging skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English essential.
- Flash, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Flex, Air.
- SQL experience would be a plus.
- Photoshop/InDesign would be a plus.
- Ability to work under short deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a team of Flash developers (both internal and external) on multiple projects simultaneously.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Strong design/aesthetic sensibilities.
- Experience in developing interactive learning and gaming products would be a plus.
- Knowledge of Action Script 2.0/3.0 would be a plus.
- Experience dealing with off-shore technical development partners.
