Digital Content Manager - Ecommerce - German Speaking

DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER - ECOMMERCE - GERMAN SPEAKING - GLOBAL BRAND - BRACKNELL - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - TO £300 PER DAY

An exciting opportunity for a German Speaking Digital Content/eCommerce Manager has arisen. This is a 6 month contract based in Bracknell. The role will require an individual with good commercial acumen and good technical skills who will be required to sometimes work closely to the Digital Sales and Marketing team at EMEA HQ in Bracknell from where the strategic direction and development work is driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Microsites
Build microsites (NBE) for Corporate Customers and Special Fleet
Enhance microsites, ie set up Html emails

Digital, Content and Merchandising
Maintain and update content on company websites
Maintain and update content on mobile apps
Create and update promotions on company websites and mobile apps
Create, manage and retire landing pages (location page, SEO landing pages, promotion landing pages, special offers landing pages, sales pages) Co-ordination and sign off of translations
UAT and content migration for new platform and mobile app
Implementation of onsite changes designed to improve to SEO rankings
Understand sources of demand and execute merchandising activities to stimulate demand where needed
Work closely with the Conversion Manager to build MVT testing cycles that are directly aligned to the optimisation strategy and commercial plan

eCRM - to provide support for the co-ordination and execution of email marketing activities driven from EMEA HQ in the UK

Stations - maintain and update Lotus Notes station database including set up for Prestige, Proximity, and Home delivery stations, including translations

Fleet - maintain and update Lotus Notes Fleet database including main fleet, Prestige cars and vans

Other databases - Maintain and update other Lotus Notes databases, ie Global Settings, Terms & Conditions, FAQ, Error Messages.

REQUIREMENTS:

Native German speaker and business fluent English
Educated to degree level in Business, Finance, Maths or Analytics
At least 3 years experience in digital/IT
Previous experience of content management and using a CMS
Microsites knowledge
Advanced Microsoft office skills
Advanced knowledge Lotus Notes
Advanced knowledge XML
Basic knowledge HTML
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Strong attention to detail
Approachable, personable, flexible, team player
Self-starter, can do positive attitude
Works on own initiative
Strong knowledge of website usability and conversion, and how merchandising drives revenue
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent analytical, numerical & reporting skills
Experience in manipulating digital and offline data sources
Be target driven
French Italian and/or Czech language desirable
