Digital Communications Manager

ROLE -DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

LOCATION - BIRMINGHAM

RATE - £175 - £185 DAILY RATE

POSITION CONTRACT - 3 MONTHS (INITIALLY)

You will be managing the internal and external digital communications channels and ensuring all communications on all levels is consistent and up to date. You will be responsible for managing the public relations and making sure that they always fall in line with the Business plan.

Managing use of social media as communication channels. Always keeping an eye out for improvements with the digital communications and recommending improvements.

KEY DUTIES-

- Great understanding of all developments in digital communications, essentially the use of digital technology and social media.
- Project Management in line with the Business plan
- Re-writing content on websites and improvement on navigation on current website so that they can be utilised by modern technology
- Advise and implement needed changes to the internal communications
- Ensure websites are optimised for positive user experience and drive traffic via SEO
- Manage external service provider relationships
- Work alongside partners to source and edit digital content
- Analyse and report on all website, Intranet and social media usage
- You will be part of an out of hour's rota this is to cover external communications activity and will only be one weekend per month. (If needed may be other times).

ESSENTIAL-

- Must have extensive experience working in a digital communications environment with experience of managing projects and taking decisions at a senior level
- Proven ability to manage digital communications programmes
- Multi-channel marketing experience (Social Media, Websites etc...)
- CMS experience
- Google Analytics
- Copywriting Skills
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
