Our client is a well-known global player in the health industry offering an exciting environment in a growing market. They are looking for a Digital Commerce Architect Europe (f/m) for Munich.

Digital Commerce IT Manager / Ecommerce Europe (f/m)

Location:Munich, Germany

Type of contract:unlimited contract

Your key tasks:

responsibility for architecture, design, implementation, support, and governance of Digital Commerce / Ecommerce projects and the delivery of digital solutions for the company

deliver e-business applications by direct development, deployment of suitable solutions and management of other development agents

ensure e-business applications meet business needs in functionality, timeliness and quality

provide Digital Commerce expertise and governance to design & develop solutions that align with business strategies.

design, and drive standards for the Digital Commerce Center of Excellence that will enable project implementations as well as operational and service governance

decompose a highly customized landscape and align to meet enterprise standards.

Partner with Business Teams/Support Function staff in order to understand business problems and opportunities and develop new ideas that align to the expansion of business plans

promote and champion the IT strategy with regional business teams

develop roadmaps for new services to support business and maintain development plans to keep existing applications up to date

implement regional process improvement efforts to improve effectiveness of ITs standard operating processes

Your profile:

degree in Computer Science or similar

significant commercial IT experience in a Digital Commerce environment

demonstrable exposure to client/non IT customers

In-depth knowledge of Java, JEE & Web technologies, database technologies, standards based design, requirements gathering and analysis skills

strong understanding of data protection and adherence to patient privacy policy

excellent communication skills at all levels in a multi-disciplinary environment preferred

strong experience of managing and delivering Enterprise Digital Commerce solutions with strong technical background and knowledge of current technologies and best practices

strong experience with current technologies such as Hybris, AEM, Informatica PIM, IBM IDM, Linux, XML

strong experience in designing, coding, unit testing and/or maintaining complex software programs

sound experience in Digital Commerce

experience in interpreting the applicability of local laws/regulations to company operations

extensive knowledge in web services protocols (e.g. REST & SOAP) and related data formats like JSON

Excellent English language skills and good German language skills
